Saturday 17th November 2018 Exploring Roman York: looking back, looking forward This year’s conference, organised by the York Archaeological Forum and hosted by the City of York Council, will focus on Roman York and will cover recent archaeological work on Roman sites in the city and its hinterland, reflecting a range of new and significant discoveries, new survey techniques and analysis of human remains. 10am to 5pm, George Hudson Room in West Offices, Tanner Row, York There will be refreshments on arrival and in the afternoon.
